FIRST RACE (12 NOON) – 4-5 & 6 YEAR OLD MAIDEN – 2-1/2 MILES
PRIZE MONEY – 1ST – £150/2ND – £80/3RD- £50
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
For Maidens ages four, five and six years old only.
WEIGHTS – 12 stone
Nationally agreed allowances for 4 and 5–year-olds, mares and fillies
To be run over two and a half miles

SECOND RACE (12-35 PM) – RESTRICTED – 2-1/2 MILES
PRIZE MONEY – 1ST – £150/2ND – £80/3RD – £50
WEIGHTS – 12 stone.
Nationally agreed allowances for 4 & 5-year olds, mares & fillies to be run over 2-1/2 miles

THIRD RACE (1-10 PM) – MENS OPEN
The winning horse will qualify for the Timico Mixed Open Final, Cheltenham, Friday 4th May
PRIZE MONEY – 1ST – £220/2ND – £100/3RD – £70
WEIGHTS – 12 ST
Nationally agreed allowances for 4 & 5 year-olds, mares & fillies
PENALTIES
A winner on or since 2nd June 2016 of a steeplechase or hurdle race under the rules of any recognisable racing authority (Point-to-Points excepted) to carry 7 lb extra
A winner since 1st July 2016 of three or more Mens or Mixed Opens Point-to-Point races to carry 7lb extra
Of two such races 4 lbs extra
Penalties are not cumulative
ALLOWANCES
Rider who prior to the Thursday before the date of this Point-to-Point Steeplechase have not ridden more than 5 winners under the Rules of Racing or the rules of any recognised Racing Authority, Point-to-Point Steeplechase or Arabian Horse races 5lbs

FOURTH RACE (1-45 PM) – SKINNERS LADIES OPEN
The first three past the post will qualify for the Skinners Ladies Open Point-to-Point Final at Stratford-on-Avon, Friday 8th June, the winning horse will qualify for the Timico Mixed Open Final, Cheltenham, Friday 4th May
PRIZE MONEY- 1ST – £220/2ND – £100/3RD – £70
WEIGHTS – Nationally agreed allowances for 4 & 5 year olds, mares and fillies
PENALTIES

The first three horses past the post are eligible for the £1,000 Dodson & Horrell PPORA Club MembersConditions Race for Novice Riders Series Final, Quorn, Garthorpe, Sunday 29th April.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
For horses that are owned by current members of the PPORA, and ridden by current
members of the PPORA, who up to and including 18th November 2017, have not won
more than five races under the rules of any recognised racing authority (Point-to-Points included)
Owners must be PPORA Members by 4 pm on the Wednesday after close of entry, riders at declaration

SIXTH RACE (2-55 PM) – OPEN MAIDEN

SEVENTH RACE (3-30 PM) – CONNOLLY’S RED MILLS INTERMEDIATE
The first four horses past the post, with the exception of four-year-olds, are eligible for the £7,000 3 mile 1-1/2 furlong CONNOLLYS RED MILLS INTERMEDIATE Point-to-Point Championship Final Hunter Chase, Cheltenham, Friday 4th May.
