COME RACING IN THE WEST MIDLANDS

Recent results have highlighted the quality of racing in the West Midlands.

BLACK PIRATE (ex-Phil Rowley) who won a Division of the Maiden at the Harkway Club fixture in 2016, landed a Weatherby Bumper on Saturday afternoon.

SANTINI (ex-Ed Walker) won the Maiden at the Duke of Beaufort’s meeting at Didmarton in March and took the Grade 2 Ballmore Classic Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham the previous weekend.

However, pride of place must go to Maisemore Maiden winner BLACK BOW (ex-Tom Lacey) who added to his rapidly growing reputation by taking the Grade 2 Goffs Future Stars Bumper at Leopardstown yesterday afternoon
