Cotswold Vale Farmers support cancer charity Focus at Maisemore Park on Sunday 14th April.

 

The Cotswold Vale Farmers have decided to support the cancer charity Focus at their Maisemore Park meeting on Sunday 14th April.

Focus is the charitable fund for the Gloucestershire Oncology Centre, who raise funds to make a direct impact for local cancer patients and their families. Their aim is to create a comfortable environment for all patients and staff by investing in facility improvements, state of the art equipment and additional care above and beyond NHS provision.

The team are there for patients every step of the way; from the diagnosis of cancer, to advice during and beyond their treatment. The support team also offer complimentary therapies, from massages to reflexology to help relieve anxiety and relax patients during their treatment.

The Focus team are funded by donations and, along with a team of committed volunteers, play a vital role giving support to cancer patients in the Oncology Centre.

As a result, owners and trainers who make entries will not be given a free racecard with their entry, as proceeds from the sale of ALL racecards will go to Focus.

Racecards will be on sale around the course throughout the day at £4.00 each.
