Scoring for all awards that are points based will be based on
7pts for a win, 5 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd and 1 for 4th
All Races run within the West Mercian Area count towards the Area Championships. Only Horses with a Hunters Certificate registered as qualified with a Hunt affiliated to the West Mercian Area may compete, apart from the Dairy Partners Open Horse award which is open to any Horse running in West Mercian Area Open Races. Riders to be eligible for the Championships must also be riding on a West Mercian Area Riders Qualification Certificate. Owners must compete with each horse individually and cannot aggregate points scored by other horses in their ownership. In the event of a dead heat, both horses will score the points allocated to the position of the dead heat. Where a Championship is tied on Points the number of wins will determine the winner.
These tables will be regularly updated throughout the season.
